For those keen to soak up every bit of Ducati goodness before the big weekend, we’ve got you covered with two optional and unofficial pre-NDR catch-ups.

By unofficial, we mean they’re not part of the formal NDR programme. That said, they’re still organised by us… so don’t be a dick. You’re still very much part of the DOCNZ crew.

🍴 Thursday night – Pre-NDR Dinner
Arrive a day early and ease into NDR mode with a relaxed night of good food, good banter, and fab company.

🏍️ Friday – Pre-NDR Ride
If you’re in town on Friday morning, join us for a local tiki tour to soak up the scenery, meet fellow rally goers, and warm up nicely before official NDR check-in kicks off on Friday arvo. 👉 Check the DOCNZ Event Calendar for details.

How do I collect my ticket?
There’s no “ticket” as such. Just roll up to the sign-in desk and tell us your name so we can tick you off our VIP list. We’ll welcome you with a smile while you grab your NDR goodies, including your NDR tag, tee, and stickers. Then you’re all set to enjoy!

What's the NDR tag for?
The NDR tag and Ducati lanyard you’ll get at sign-in are your all-access pass for the weekend. Wear it with pride - no tag, no entry to the good stuff:

Can I change my tee size??
When you signed up, your tee size was locked in, and we’ve only ordered what you chose. If the pies (or the gym… or lack of it) got the better of you, your best bet is to find someone over the weekend with the size you need and see if they’re keen for a swap.

Can I score another NDR tee?
Yup! Our tee designs are pretty cool, eh? You’ll be able to order the same design after the event, it just won’t have the exclusive NDR markings on it.

Do I need to enter?

Nope — but you should

We’ll have crew pointing the way at key corners, ride in a staggered group formation.

If the pace isn’t your thing, pass when it’s safe. Just don’t be a dick about it to other Ducatisti or road users.

What’s the dress code for Saturday night?
Smart casual.
As a guide, Ange the Prez will be in a dress and heels, or a collared shirt will look great too, bonus points if it’s rocking a DOCNZ logo.

Photo & filming consent
We’ll be snapping photos and possibly a bit of video over the weekend, as we love sharing the good vibes on our socials and DOCNZ channels. By attending, you’re giving us permission to use images and footage from the event. Don’t worry, we’ll handle everything with care and follow NZ privacy rules. If you’d rather not be in any photos or videos, just let one of the crew know.

Where can I find the event agenda and schedule?
You’ll get the full itinerary at sign-in, plus we’ll email it out the day before NDR. We recommend saving or screenshotting it on your phone. Plans could shift slightly, but we’ll keep you in the loop.

Can I bring a friend and buy their ticket on the day?
Nah, sorry. Everything is locked in ahead of time, including tags, goodies, meals, and seating, so tickets are for registered attendees only. Make sure tickets are sorted before the event. 👉 Good news though: they can still come along to the Show & Shine to check out the gleaming bikes and soak up the epic vibes.

Can I nominate a Good Bugger?
YES! Please do! We love celebrating both the legends and the laughs of the club. Nominations close about a week out from the event though. Awards will be presented during prize-giving at the Saturday night gala.

What happens if something goes wrong during the event?
Like any ride or event, there’s always a bit of risk involved. Remember: don’t be a dick and use your common sense, look out for each other, and don’t be a dick.

What parking arrangements are available?
We’ve got you covered! Parking is safe, tucked away from the road, and the venue have assured us they’ll be keeping an eye on things

What’s the condition of the roads to and from NDR?
NZ roads do their own thing - worth a checking your route and road conditions to map your journey here before you roll.

Are there organised rides to get to NDR?
DOCNZers come from all corners of NZ, so if you’re keen to ride in with others, jump into our private Facebook group! Post your plans or ask around – share where you're riding from and when, you'll be sure to have a crew and plan in no time!

We’ve secured a discounted rate off the hotel’s rack price for NDR.

If you’re keen to go bargain hunting, crack on - sometimes a rogue deal pops up. If you snag one, happy days. Just know we’ve pushed this as far as we can without burning the venue, and this is where it’s landed.

If you’re staying, don’t sit on it. Like flights and tickets, prices only head one way the closer we get

I Can't Come to the Event Now…
Bummer! We get it, life happens. Unfortunately, tickets to our major events are non-refundable, just like concert tickets. As a not-for-profit club, running big events comes with its fair share of risks, so this policy helps us keep everything running smoothly. We cap numbers because we always max out the venue. If something pops up and you can't make it, no worries! If you can find someone to take your ticket, we’re happy to transfer it for you.

Will the event still happen if it rains?
Absolutely! Rain, hail, or shine - it’s all part of it, and makes for some great tales.

The Event Has Been Rescheduled, Now What?
No stress! If the event gets rescheduled, your ticket purchase will still be valid for the new date.

The Event Has Been Cancelled, WHAT NOW?
Yikes! If we have to cancel, you’ll get a partial refund, and any event merch or items you’ve ordered will be sent to you. We’ll keep you in the loop with updates, and once refunds are confirmed, please allow up to five (5) business days for processing.

Plans can shift slightly as we get closer — and even over the weekend (weather, routes, timing tweaks… NZ doing its thing).

Long answer: we’ll lock things as tight as we can, but NDR runs on real-world timing… not spreadsheets....
