Your responsibilities
PLEASE READ PRIOR TO ATTENDANCE
This event is going to be quite an adventure, but we have to make it clear that THIS IS NOT A SUPPORTED EVENT, THERE IS NO SWEEP CREW OR BACK-UP VEHICLE!!
There is an expectation that you will carry & be able to use enough tools that will enable you to remove your wheels, fix a puncture, adjust your chain, change a lever (& bring any spares with you) in case of breakage.
Having said this, we will of course assist to the best of our abilities to ensure we can all finish the ride – Some Self Reliance is the message.
Whilst this event is all about enjoying yourself, having a good time & exploring new places, there is the boring stuff we have to go through with you, health and safety on the event has to be one of our priorities.

WAIVER AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY
I accept that the activities that you undertake inherently involve various risks and potential hazards.
To the extent permitted by law I hereby release, waive, discharge and hold blameless “Ducati Official Club New Zealand (DOCNZ)”, including but not limited to owners, organisers, affiliates, sponsors, editors or administrators and all persons, entities and contractors connected to “DOCNZ” from any and all liability for death, disability, personal injury (including mental injury), property damage, property theft, loss of personal equipment and all other risks, claims or actions of any kind (including negligence) whatever and however occurring which may arise, at any time, from or in connection with, directly or indirectly, as a consequence of me carrying out the activities mentioned or suggested by “DOCNZ”, including but not limited to owners, organisers, affiliates, sponsors or administrators and all persons, entities and contractors connected to “DOCNZ”.
I agree that this waiver is contractually binding on myself, my successors, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin and assigns and that should I or any of my successors, executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin or assigns assert a claim in contravention of this waiver the asserting party shall be liable for all the expenses (including legal fees on a solicitor client basis) incurred by the other party or parties in defending the claim.

The routes are crossing and travel on public roads and highways where other vehicles, pedestrians, and animals may be present.

Information provided on any kind of conditions or parameter, including but not limited to, road, weather, distances and time is approximate, and should not be considered precise or exact instructions.
You must obey all applicable rule, regulation, laws and bylaws and use caution at all times.
Use only road legal and road worthy motorcycles on public roads.
Wear complete and proper personal protection equipment suitable for motorcycle riding such as, but not limited to, helmet, gloves, body, leg and arm protection and boots when attending any ride.
If you are not prepared to take these risks, then we suggest you stay in bed, put on Netflix and have a duvet day. If you understand these risks and are fully prepared to behave sensibly, we’d love to see you at the event.
